Doreen Fera

Doreen Fera is an award-winning creative director, veteran marketing strategist, and writer with more than 25 years’ experience in the advertising industry. Working directly with clients in the New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia region, Doreen has built a strong reputation as a sales catalyst for healthcare, B2B, real estate, professional services, and retail organizations. She has developed strategic plans and creative solutions for a diverse range of businesses – from local start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. A writer first and foremost, Doreen is a skilled advertising/PR communicator who works well with C-level executives and front line managers to clarify objectives and to identify unique opportunities. Detail-driven yet big-picture oriented, she recognizes marketing challenges and strengths and develops strategies and creative concepts that help clients achieve their goals and build their brands.

Doreen helped launch countless initiatives for Barnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest health system, including the development of websites and videos for individual hospital programs and the promotion of its living donor renal transplant program and the work of the St. Barnabas Burn Center and its foundation. She worked as strategic marketing consultant and writer to rebrand and re-energize The Robertson Scholars Program, an initiative of The Robertson Foundation, in 2013. She also has worked with clients in the high-tech, pharma, engineering and energy sectors. Doreen has extensive experience producing websites, videos, brochures and all forms of marketing to engage internal and external markets. Her work has been recognized with national and regional communications industry awards including several Telly Awards, Jasper Awards, and a Gold Ava Award, among others. Doreen received her Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Temple University. She will receive her MFA in Creative Writing at Rutgers University in May.
